About the Role The Senior Regulation and Compliance Officer is a diverse role requiring collaboration with a diverse array of stakeholders, including the general public, business and industry, firefighters, local governments, volunteers, and other government agencies.
As a critical member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting investigations into breaches of the emergency services Acts.Managing the issuance of exemptions to operators to enable them to work during total fire bans.Providing guidance on compliance obligations to stakeholders.Developing and implementing targeted education programs to increase awareness and support compliance initiatives throughout the State.Monitoring changes in relevant laws and regulations.Conducting site inspections.We are looking for someone who has:
Strong interpersonal skillsExceptional analytical abilitiesExcellent communication skills and is able to effectively convey complex information to a diverse range of stakeholdersA proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutionsThe capacity to influence.Eligibility To Apply You must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency.
