Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
You'll report to the Operations Manager (Outstations) , and work alongside a close-knit team of technical professionals.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our QNGR fleet at the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility.
We'll look to you for:
Perform the Lead Maintenance Technician role on a rotating basis, supporting in-service faults with technical advice to support the Driver and to minimize the in-service impact of the fault.
Raise 'Incidents' in SAP based on first contact from Drivers or on-board systems, ensuring high-quality reporting to enable effective repairs.
Liaise with Superintendents in order to effect the repair with no impact to in-service performance.
Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
Monitor fleet performance using on-board diagnostics and remote monitoring systems and provide KPIs as required on critical systems such as HVAC, Toilets, Doors, etc.

Significant experience in a technical role, maintaining and repairing the NGR fleet.
Relevant Trade and/or Engineering qualifications.
