14th November, 2024Tax Advisory Manager - Brisbane OfficeForvis Mazars' Tax Consulting team has an opportunity for a Tax Advisory Manager with Australian tax experience.We're a globally integrated audit, tax and advisory firm with offices in over 100 countries and territories - and we're always ready to recruit an experienced and motivated Tax Manager like you to join our Australian team.This could be just the right opportunity for you if you....Share a passion for research and are skilled in understanding and distilling legislation.Enjoy working alongside Business Advisory and Financial Advisory Services teams.Care for our client's most delicate matters, from mergers and acquisitions to tax structuring and succession planning.Relish a challenge and seek the ideal environment to realise your full potential.About the role :Providing a high level of tax advice in all areas of taxation.Provide services to local and international clients.Work across a diverse range of industries.Tax advisory for companies and individuals.Taxation compliance.Report to the Tax partner.Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislationDrafting advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues.Assistance in relation to structuring of businesses and investments.Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients.Preparation/review of tax returns for Trusts, Companies, Partnership and Individuals.Be able to provide practical taxation advice meeting business needs.About you :5 or more years of Australian tax experience.Experience in income tax advise relating to corporate tax, CGT, companies' personal income tax and international tax.Completed a Bachelor of Laws/ Tax, or both.Have or Completing a Masters of Law/ Tax (Desirable).Have or Completing the Chartered Tax Advisory program.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.Willingness to learn.Why Forvis Mazars?For those who appreciate culture as much as commercial success, Forvis Mazars is the smart choice.
