An opportunity to manage the PWM Project Portfolio Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.
Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
About the role An exciting opportunity to be part of Perpetual Wealth Management and be responsible for the oversight and development of the PWM project portfolio, resource management and project delivery.
As a Portfolio and Project Manager, you will:
Be responsible for the management of the PWM Project Portfolio.
Build a scalable delivery team of project resources as required.
Effective management of portfolio & assigned projects to achieve defined business outcomes within budgetary, time, scope and quality constraints.
Effective stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration across PWM, within PME team & across all project stakeholders.
Lead and assist in embedding change within PWM through a structured and thorough process for transitioning to business as usual that results in minimal disruption and successful adoption of change.
Ensure that management are regularly appraised of project status and that any risks or issues are appropriately escalated to ensure project delivery / risk mitigation.
Ensure that available resources (people, technology, business processes) are focused and used effectively to enhance the client experience and meet business objectives.
About you Tertiary qualifications in business and/or commerce.
Additional experience or post graduate qualifications relevant to the finance industry, program management and/or business transformation.
Minimum of 10 years Project Management with a proven track record of achieving business outcomes.
Experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably Wealth Management.
Proven experience leading a project portfolio or program.
Experience working with senior stakeholder groups & leading projects with multiple stakeholder groups (internal & external).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills displaying an ability to build relationships with project teams, stakeholders, vendors etc.
