Our new model is designed to better integrate data delivery, strategic programs, data platform engineering and data governance, ensuring improved accountability across all domains.IT Area Lead - Data Delivery plays a pivotal role within the technology department of ING Australia, reporting directly to the Head of Technology Data Analytics and AI.
This leadership position encompasses the oversight and management of the entire technology stack within the designated domains under their purview.
As a key member of the extended technology leadership team, the IT Area Lead Data Delivery is entrusted with managing change and run teams across multiple domains and overseeing complex projects with moderate to high impact.
In this dynamic role, the IT Area Lead Data Delivery is required to be capable of long-term strategic planning and work collaboratively with their business counterpart (Tribe Leads) to develop and execute a technology strategy and roadmap that is aligned with overarching business goals.
They are effective in managing various stakeholders at different levels including EXCO members and will assist the Heads of Technology in managing partnerships both within the organisation as well as with external vendors.The IT Area Lead Data Delivery will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and a proven record of driving transformative change within technology organizations.
