We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join us in our Coolangatta office.

You will report to the directors and be responsible for driving our company's technology development.
This is an executive position within our team, so communicating progress toward technology-related objectives is critical.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of our technology platform known as myCargo.
This is our client interface and it integrates with our ERP.
All core platforms are written in Microsoft .NET, and development experience and capability with this code framework is essential.

The role currently has three other technology professionals who would report to you regarding front-end web development, SEO, digital design, database development/encoding, and hardware support.

Cyber security is of prime importance as we are a defence logistics contractor who must exceed minimum government criteria at all times.
Collaboration with our Security Officers is essential.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in leading the design, development, and implementation of technology platforms.
You should also possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

You will need to collaborate with other team members, external vendors, and consultants to ensure reliability and client-focused evolution of technology platforms.
Identifying new technologies that could benefit the business and our clients is another key aspect of this role.

An Australian Defence Force background would be an advantage but not essential.
The successful candidate must either possess or be able to achieve an Australian Department of Defence NV1 security clearance in due course.

The base salary will be commensurate with experience, and there is a performance-linked quarterly bonus available for all team members.
