We focus on delivering sustainable, long-term value for our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Developer Programmer / Product Lead to join our team. This role involves leading the ongoing management, maintenance, and further development of our existing innovative web application tailored for investment management in the financial industry.As part of this position, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of complex Bubble.io solutions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a robust, high-performance web application, heavily reliant on intricate Bubble.io workflows and integrations with third-party APIs, and ensuring best practice cybersecurity and compliance standards are met.The ideal candidate will possess a passion for innovation, a strong background in both frontend and backend development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Any experience in the financial services industry or investment space, with a strong understanding of industry-specific concepts and regulations would be a bonus. This position is a full-time ongoing position based in Sydney NSW 2000.Main Tasks:Assume the position of the first internal no-code web application developer within our new product team, responsible for providing technical support, managing, maintaining, and advancing our existing application utilising the Bubble.io platform.Collaborate closely with our existing Bubble.io agency and other cross-functional teams, including Product and Customer Service teams, to conceptualise and implement user-focused solutions effectively.Manage the existing integrations of complex third-party APIs, such as our designated unit registry, Twilio, Sendgrid, and HubSpot CRM, into Bubble.io applications.Conduct thorough QA testing and analysis, demonstrating an acute attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of quality and functionality in all aspects of the application.Facilitate product design and discovery sessions, leveraging no-code technologies and potentially AI tools where applicable.Oversee AWS server deployment and configuration to accommodate Bubble.io applications.Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards provided by our expert third-party consultancy, and implement robust security measures within both the Bubble.io and AWS server environment. This includes integrating application and server logging with Microsoft Sentinel.Offer technical leadership and mentorship to future developers on the team, emphasising Bubble.io best practices.Maintain comprehensive solution documentation and stay abreast of Bubble.io capabilities and limitations.Support future Business Continuity Planning initiatives pertaining to our Bubble.io application and its underlying infrastructure.Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:A relevant qualification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience in the industry.Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:Proficient in product roadmap planning and project management.Extensive hands-on experience at the senior level with web application development concepts and technologies.Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation, including experience integrating APIs into Bubble.io applications.Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for supporting Bubble.io deployments.Knowledgeable about cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards within a no-code development environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead development efforts independently or collaboratively.Proficient in triaging work and priorities under pressure and consistently meeting deadlines with efficiency and precision.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.We acknowledge and appreciate the values of equal employment opportunity and cultural diversity within the workplace.
