Senior Operations Accountant | Manufacturing, Inventory & CostingAbout the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and Plant Manager within a global manufacturing business headquartered in Brisbane, this Senior Operations Accountant role has been created to act as the conduit between finance and its large-scale manufacturing operations. You will be expected to interact with the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Sales functions in a Business Partnering capacity and assist with providing accurate financial data and analysis to the C-Suite for genuine decision-making purposes.
Key Responsibilities Ensure that product standards are reviewed on a regular basis and are accurate reflection of the true costs;Complete analysis and Profit and Loss reporting for Local and Global Finance function stakeholders;Business partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Supply chain on margin review, variance analysis and actuals vs forecast;Conduct analysis on inventory and help develop solutions to efficiently manage stock holdings;Prepare reports explaining manufacturing on KPIs such as material prices, usage, yields, wastage variances;Assist Operations teams to prepare their operating budgets and forecasts;Analyse standard costs for the products that are both produced and procure;Conduct analysis of Bill of Materials (BOMs) for use in management decision making.Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications Proven operational finance analytical skills;Strong communication and presentation skills;CPA / CA qualified or studying towards;Experience with inventory and costing (Desirable);Large ERP experience (SAP desirable).How to Apply
