As a key member, you will design and build Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning solutions for GroupM clients.You will work closely with our internal consulting team and client stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions across a large financial services client and some fast food clients.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a passionate and hands-on Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer with a proven track record of building and maintaining robust data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They possess a deep understanding of data warehousing principles and are proficient in developing ETL processes using tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.Experience with marketing technology data, such as CRM, advertising platforms, and web analytics, is highly desirable. This individual is comfortable working with large datasets, optimizing query performance, and ensuring data quality.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build Google Cloud Platform solutions in the Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning specialisationsDelivery of engineering projects, including setting up data pipelines, data warehouses, cloud infrastructure, and integrationsWork closely with colleagues and clients to understand business needs and translate business requirements into technical solutionsDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous delivery and deploymentDesigning, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based systems and applicationsParticipate in the development of technical documentation and project plansWork with cross-functional teams, including architects and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of projectsIdentify and implement best practices for cloud security, reliability, and performanceContinuously improve your skills and stay up to date with industry trends and best practicesRequirementsCandidates will have at least 4+ years' experience delivering data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform. We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, with a positive and forward-thinking mindset, ready for a fast-paced environment where they will face various tasks.Google Cloud Certification (in order of preference: Professional Data Engineer, Professional ML Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect)4+ years of professional experience in designing and building Google Cloud Platform solutions in the Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning realmExperience developing solutions in Python (Apache Airflow, Apache Beam) and SQLExperience with GCP tools including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run & Cloud Functions and Cloud ComposerThorough knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices including Terraform, GitHub ActionsUnderstanding of networking, security, and performance optimization in a cloud environmentKnowledge of digital marketing and advertising concepts and toolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentSalary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is between $150,000 and $200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
