In this role you will be working within our Work Health and Safety Team to lead Brightwater's Injury Management function and processes, provide day-to-day claims management, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders ensuring compliance for successful, sustainable return to work outcomes.Your engaging, caring and authentic approach to working closely with employees will be crucial to the program's success.Benefits:Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health, safety and well-being of Brightwater's workforce.Genuinely flexible working conditions with a generous salary package, company vehicle and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.Supportive team environment with professional development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Liaise and coordinate with injured workers, allied health professionals, general practitioners and other stakeholders, primarily focusing on early intervention and return-to-work for work-related injuries.Identify and implement injury management and rehabilitation strategies to improve worker well-being.Provide guidance and advice to management on injury management and return-to-work processes for non-work-related injuries.Oversee and process workers' compensation claims, ensuring legal compliance and timely reporting.Escalate complex cases as required to the supportive network of the WHS manager, the insurer and broker.To be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in an Injury Management position.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong customer focus, emotional intelligence and empathy skills.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments and the ability to inclusively communicate with a diverse range of people, building successful relationships.Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience in the use of safety databases and management software (SolvInjury experience will be an advantage).Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently.A relevant tertiary qualification in safety and health, allied health or related discipline will be advantageous.Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months (or ability to obtain) and a current Western Australian 'C' Class driver's licence.About BrightwaterWith a track record that dates back to 1901, care is at our core.
