At Lifestyle Solutions, we're all about providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people (aged 0-18) through Out-of-Home Care services. From Temporary Care to Group Care, Community Foster Care, and Individual High Needs Care, we tailor our services to meet the unique and often complex needs of those we support. Our specialist care ensures every young person has a stable and secure home where they can grow and thrive.
Make a Difference Every Day
We're on the lookout for passionate Therapeutic Youth Workers ready to step up as short-term Therapeutic Live-in Carers across Western Australia. This exciting role takes you to different parts of the state, filling in for regular carers while creating meaningful connections with the young people you support. You can be based anywhere, but we're especially interested in candidates located in Perth, the Great Southern, Pilbara, and the Kimberley regions.

Every day brings something new As a Therapeutic Live-in Carer, you'll take on responsibilities that range from managing household duties to providing emotional and developmental support. Here's what your day-to-day could look like:
Manage daily household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundryCreate a safe and nurturing environment where young people can flourishSupport the child's Individual Care Plan, which focuses on their health, education, relationships, and emotional well-beingEncourage cultural or religious connections, including return-to-country tripsWork closely with schools to ensure educational engagementJoin in recreational activities like fishing, crafts, and outdoor adventuresWhat We're Looking For
To shine in this role, you'll need:
A love for travel (flights covered)Experience working with young people, particularly in therapeutic environmentsWillingness to work a week-on, week-off roster with sleepover shiftsA valid driver's license and resilience to handle the unique challenges of the jobRelevant qualifications or experience in child and youth careA positive, empathetic attitude and passion for making a differenceWhy Join Lifestyle Solutions?
