Permanent, full time opportunityOpportunities for career advancement & growthOur client, a leading manufacturer in the mining sector, is looking for an outstanding QHSE Manager to join their leadership team in Bayswater.

About the role:As the HSEQ Manager, you will take full accountability for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental functions while supporting the development of a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety regulations across all operational levels.
Key responsibilities:Lead and implement best practices in quality and safety strategies, processes, and procedures.Ensure systems and procedures satisfy all customer and audit requirements.Oversee and manage the Internal Audit Program and Quality Management System (QMS).Provide expert advice on workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.Investigate incidents and near misses, recommending and implementing effective solutions.Promote a 'safety-first' culture by conducting regular training and improvement sessions.Organise and lead Quarterly Safety Committee meetings.Support the coordination and delivery of training programs.Handle all administrative and reporting tasks related to HSEQ functions.Conduct site inductions for contractors, visitors, and new staff.What we're looking for:Minimum of 3 years in a QHSE-related role, preferably in heavy manufacturing.Relevant Workplace Health and Safety qualifications.Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing principles.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A proactive and motivated approach to safety and quality.Proficiency in MS Office; experience with PRONTO is a plus.Comprehensive knowledge of EHS standards and relevant legislation.A current drivers licence.Interested?If you meet the above criteria, please submit your resume and cover letter now, addressing your application to Sarah, or call for more information.
