You will act as the technical face of the organization, establishing trust with our clients by helping them solve their business problems and improve their processes. Above all else, quality work and client satisfaction are our top priorities.A Solutions Consultant is expected to demonstrate the ability to not only handle projects to completion but to be the trusted advisor to the clients. They also possess the ability to articulate the company vision, describe solutions and the benefits of each to a current or prospective client.The successful candidate will be able to transition rapidly between hands-on project delivery within individual projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables, and high-level relationship building and program strategy execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of project execution success implementing or utilizing business-oriented IT/Software solutions within the Energy industry.Location: Perth or Brisbane, AU with potential for domestic & international travelResponsibilitiesParticipate as a member of the APAC Services team from understanding the clients' business requirements all the way to implementation of Quorum's solutions aided by Quorum's project and program management methodology and best practices for the organizationWork in a team together with the Project Manager to understand assigned project responsibilities and keep the project on schedule and budget by communicating progress and expectations and escalating issues for awareness and/or resolutionPerform software implementations at leading energy companiesHands-on in delivery of projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables.Ensure that clients' needs are fulfilled by providing professional high-quality service and assistance before, during and after customer's requirements are metSupport clients through go-live process and a play key role in promoting solution adoptionFrequently and proactively communicate project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting, and interfacing with stakeholders and sponsorsSolve challenging technical support questions related to the solution suiteWork effectively across internal departments (product development, solutions architects, quality assurance, sales, marketing)Provide solution training to clients and employeesAnd other duties as assigned.RequirementsUniversity Degree, preferably in a technical or business discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, etc.)Software implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and supportExperience completing a minimum of 3 implementation projectsStrong technical skills in Oracle database (PL/SQL) and JavaAbility to think through details without losing sight of the big pictureExperience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development and process mappingAnalytical nature with the ability to solve complex business process challengesAbility to work effectively with cross-functional and global teamsExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective internal and customer relationshipsAbility to learn and master new technologiesDetail oriented and customer focusedAbility to develop trust with clients, including technical staff and managementSoftware implementation background or experience working for a software companyAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to travel domestically & internationally – up to 6 weeks a yearPreferred SkillsOil & Gas domain knowledge with midstream knowledge preferredConsulting experienceExperience working with Energy ComponentsVisa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Australia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
