The Opportunity
Ramsay is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a strategic and dynamic Director of Finance to lead the financial operations at two key sites in Brisbane: North West Private and Caboolture Private Hospitals.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial management and performance of these hospitals.
With the support of an off-site Finance Service Centre handling transactional accounting, you will ensure financial accuracy and integrity across the network.
This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our Queensland operations.

Key Accountabilities
Analyse financial results to identify opportunities for improvements and growth.
Develop and oversee annual budgets and business plans.
Manage various non-clinical departments, including Business Office/Patient Administration, Consulting Suites, Finance, Purchasing, Health Information Services, Catering, and Environmental Services.
Oversee the financial management and implications of Capital Expenditure.
Coordinate with corporate finance services on reporting and compliance.
Collaborate with clinical departments to educate and empower managers in understanding, monitoring, and achieving KPIs.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate substantial commercial acumen, advanced financial management expertise, and highly effective leadership skills.
Additionally, you should have a proven ability to build strong, positive, and professional relationships with both remote and on-site teams.
Your Skills and Experience
Professional qualifications in accountancy/finance management, with a preference for CPA or CA.
Proven ability to analyse financial and operational data to generate value-creating insights.
Experience in working collaboratively with the business to enhance performance.
Demonstrated attention to detail, strong decision-making capabilities, and clear, concise communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Extensive experience with large accounting software packages and financial reporting models, including advanced budget preparation.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and support key non-financial stakeholders.
Desirable but not essential
Experience in financial management within the healthcare sector.
Skilled in financial legislation, compliance, and risk management frameworks pertinent to healthcare environments.
About the Hospitals
North West Private Hospital
is located 15mins north west of the Brisbane CDB in the serene suburb of Everton Park.
We are a 150-bed acute hospital with seven operating theatres, seven procedure rooms, an infusion centre and day rehabilitation unit.
The hospital is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric and medical facility, committed to delivering the highest level of specialised services with a dedicated team of skilled professionals and state-of-the-art technologies.
Caboolture Private Hospital
is a fully accredited surgical and medical facility located in the northern outskirts of Brisbane, at the southern end of the picturesque Sunshine Coast.
It features 43 beds, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a 12-chair Day Procedure Unit, and a day oncology unit.
With leading specialists across major disciplines, consultations are available in onsite suites, alongside private hospital accommodation.
Situated near Caboolture's business centre, the hospital serves urban and rural communities including Bribie Island, Burpengary, and Redcliffe.
