Sunny tropical location……………. Only a 4 hours drive away from Queensland's capital Brisbane$528,085 salary packageEligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction SchemeLower cost of livingFlexible work arrangements.Supportive accredited departmentOvertime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointmentThe role will provide specialist anaesthetic care and related medical services in the Division of Critical Care.
Assist the Clinical Director and General Manager (Division of Critical Care) to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
Assist with the education and supervision of trainees and other medical staff, medical students, allied health, and nursing staff.
Opportunity for Private Practice: The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their appointment with local private hospitals.
The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with:
Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathwaysAssistance with credentialing and administrative support to commence private practiceIntroduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.Several Permanent Full Time (80 hours p.f.)
and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable)The Hospital: The Hospital has 247 beds and has recently undergone a multimillion-dollar redevelopment to become a modern Hospital that provides high quality care within an environment of continuous improvement.
Services available at the Hospital include 5 intensive care beds, coronary care, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, general, orthopaedic and vascular surgery, 24-hour emergency medicine, renal dialysis unit, a level 2 special-care nursery of neonates and a comprehensive Integrated Mental Health Service.
The Location: The city is located only a 4 hours away from Queensland's capital Brisbane and is known as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
With direct flights daily to Brisbane & Sydney, the region is very accessible, enjoy a mild sub-tropical climate.
Situated at the hub of the Coral Coast, a dreamy stretch of white beaches, national parks and relaxed coastal towns, a picturesque, modern, and progressive city that has a reputation for its friendliness of its locals.
