About YouThe assistant in nursing is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork as a valued member of the team, providing daily care to patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.Monitor vital signs and report all changes to the nursing in charge.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Provide emotional support to patients and their families.Work within the multidisciplinary team to promote best outcomes for patients in our care.What You BringCurrently enrolled and studying a Bachelor of Nursing, with completion of the first year of studies.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting.Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.Why work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
