Permanent Full-time Position Broughton Anglican College is a Pre Kinder to Year 12 Christian School in the Macarthur region and provides exceptional educational opportunities to more than 1,400 students.

This position is a full-time permanent position commencing in Term 3, 2024.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Pre Kinder team to deliver high quality Christian education, developing students for life through Christ.
Core Requirements: are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Reformed Evangelical Churchhave sufficient expertise and knowledge to lead the implementation of the College's vision of holistic Christian education and distinctively Christian pastoral careconduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College communityhave sufficient expertise and knowledge to lead and manage a teaching team through effective and research-based teaching practiceshave appropriate tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications - Bachelor of Early Childhood (highly desired)have early childhood knowledge and understand the needs of early years learners and early childhood pedagogydevelop and maintain positive relationships with familieshave exceptional communication and relational leadership skillshave knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schoolshave a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC)have active accreditation to teach in NSW from NESA.Core Responsibilities: all students in Pre Kinder are receiving high quality learning and personal developmenteffective and cohesive educational practices are implemented across the teaching team with a distinctively Christian approachthe Pre Kinder program is implemented, regularly reviewed and continuously improvedclassroom teachers in their team are coached and supported to deliver high quality practices that meet the needs of their studentsa smooth transition process into Kindergarten is maintainedeffective assessment practices are overseen and adopted across the teaching team, resulting in the information obtained directly informing classroom practices and student reportsin consultation with the learning support team, targeted supports (Tier 2) for student learning, behaviour and pastoral needs are developed and teachers are coached to implementation, under guidance from the Dean of Learning or Dean of Studentsthe organisation, coordination and running of Pre Kinder events supports the learning and development of studentsThese key responsibilities are subject to review and change according to the needs of the College.
Details of Employment: Class teachers and Pre Kinder Teacher's Aides report to the Pre Kinder Coordinator.This position reports directly to the Dean of Learning and Dean of Students.This position also reports to the Deputy Principal Junior School and the Principal.This position attracts a Coordinator 1 allocation and salary will be determined under the conditions of the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 after training and experience have been considered.This position includes a reduced teaching load.The position is subject to a Professional Performance Review annually by the Deputy Principal Junior School.How to Apply: Complete our Teaching Staff Application Form online.
