Lead Supervisor Psychotherapy/Staff Specialist PsychiatristPermanent full-time opportunity to work clinically as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Metro North Mental Health and have dedicated time for the Lead Supervisor Psychotherapy role.
For the clinical component, the Staff Specialist will provide clinical care and treatment within a multi-disciplinary clinical team and administrative and educational services to consumers and staff in MNMH.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Develop and maintain training opportunities in psychotherapy, including facilitating opportunities in a range of positions across MNMH to support acquiring experience in psychotherapy.Ensure engagement of lived experience in development, delivery, and evaluation of education initiatives where possible.Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation including statistical and clinical data collection and data entry for CIMHA and ieMR.Participate in the after-hours on-call roster and the ECT roster, as required.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
