Ensures a balanced budget and assesses community needs.52 Week EmployeeFull Benefits – Health, Vision, Dental, Life, LTDVacation, Personal Business and Sick TimeQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Programs, Education, Administration or Related Field and/or Significant Experience in Related Area Required.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in program design/planning of current early childhood issues and best practices.Demonstrated experience in parent/community relations, staff development, and financial management of childcare programs.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Management and administration of OPS early childhood programs – GSRP, tuition-based childcare, and before/after-school programs.Develop and maintain a caring environment that meets the needs of children, staff, and families.Recruits, hires and evaluates all personnel in programs being managed.Plans and coordinates staff professional development.Assists and coordinates all employee licensing and program licensing for GSRP and childcare programs, Special Needs Camp and Early Childhood Center.Develops and updates policies and procedures for all programs.Reports to: Superintendent of SchoolsLocation: Edgewood Early Childhood CenterSalary: Starting salary will be negotiated in accordance with the candidate's training and experience $55,000-$65,000Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are core values of the Okemos Public Schools.
