We are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients throughout all stages of a project and beyond.The Senior Project Manager (PM) plays a crucial role at Sequana in planning, executing, and overseeing projects for our customers within our organisation. The Senior Project Manager's responsibilities include leading and delivering small, medium to major-scale projects and exceeding our clients' expectations. The Senior Project Manager will proactively support the national team, constantly seeking to improve the way we deliver service to our clients and colleagues.What you doDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop plans to manage the project in accordance with its budget, timelines, and quality requirements.Lead and deliver small, medium to major scale projects to the agreed commercial, schedule, and quality systems.Collaborate with our clients by facilitating meetings and workshops with the client's employees and other stakeholders to understand their context and needs for the project.Conduct analysis, draw insights, and form hypotheses and solutions.Work closely with our clients, to provide regular updates and facilitate timely decision-making.Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver the required outcomes.Present findings and recommendations to clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.Provide regular project updates to senior management.Identify and support Sequana with the winning of any new consulting assignments.Who you areCandidates should possess:Tertiary qualifications or relevant credentials in project management and/or engineering.7+ years of industry experience with a thorough understanding of infrastructure projects, preferably within the Water sector.Proven experience as a Project Manager or superintendent, preferably in a contractor organisation.Experience in the maintenance and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants and related equipment.Knowledge of relevant design standards, legislation, and Australian Standards in particular AS2124 & AS4000.Provide technical and contractual support to the project team to ensure delivery of project outcomes, value for money, and best practice are achieved.Oversee and manage projects to ensure work output is of a technically high standard and activities are commercially viable for the business.Recognised skills in managing Work Health and Safety and Environmental legislative and procedural requirements.Excellent organisational, communication (both verbal and written), and leadership skills.Ability to analyse data and draw insights within an ambiguous context.Sound understanding of integrated management systems encompassing quality, safety, and environmental aspects.Budgeting skills to manage time effectively and competing priorities.Ability to perform under time pressure whilst providing high-quality outcomes in every aspect of work.High level of business and personal ethics.Proven commercial acumen including contractual management, tenders & bids, legal & procurement activities.Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.What it's like working at Sequana:Our culture - We have a wonderful team of brilliant high achievers built on a culture of empathy, collaboration, integrity, openness, and professional excellence.Award-winning - We are an award-winning company – we have won 'Great Place to Work' awards across Australia.Exciting & meaningful projects - Sequana is on an exciting growth journey.
