Administration Officer, Allied Health

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed, customer service focused Administration Officer, Allied Health to provide administrative support to the Brightwater at Home Allied Health Team.
This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis, working in our new state-of-the-art office in Inglewood.
Reporting to the Allied Health Service Leader, you will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed with both accuracy and efficiency.
Your duties will include (but not limited to): Phone Calls to clients and relatives in relation to their therapy serviceCommunicating with internal staff on behalf of therapistsScheduling meetings and training for staffSetting up new staff rosters and training schedulesSetting up and maintaining client therapy waitlistsOrdering supplies for clients and therapists and liaising with suppliersPhotocopying and faxingMaintenance of electronic filesTraining staff in use of electronic programsTo be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlinesWorking knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation; Aged Care Act (1997); and/or Disability Services Commission Standards (1988) (desirable)Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) in various environments with a diverse group of peopleExcellent written communicationDemonstrated ability to work autonomously, organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlinesKnowledge of and ability to practice all aspects of confidentialityExperience using client/business management systems (desirable)Advanced computer skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel (essential)Knowledge of Carelink Plus or Alayacare software (desirable)Possess a current Western Australia 'C' Class Driver's Licence (desirable)Previous experience working in community based aged care industry (desirable)First Aid Certificate less than 3 years old (desirable)Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within last 12 monthsIf this sounds like the right role for you, Brightwater offers: The ability to salary package up to $18,550 annually, meaning you can legitimately pay less tax and increase your take-home pay5 extra leave days each yearOur unique staff benefits program, including access to BrightwaterPlus which gives you discounts with over 370 retailersIf you are passionate about helping people pursue the dignity of independence and have a spirit that is caring, authentic, progressive, and courageous, then please read the attached job description for more information on the role, including a full list of duties and selection criteria to address.
