Hard working with strong beliefs and standing proud of the service and products we deliver is our priority.Due to our strategic objective of ensuring the quality of all products purchased, cost control, taking inventory records and other key processes, we are seeking an experienced Retail Buyer to join our vibrant and committed team.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving continuous improvement, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Experience in a similar position of Retail Buyer in the food industryStaying abreast of the latest trends through industry reports, social media, trade shows and fashion showsSeeking out new suppliers and building relationshipsReviewing and evaluating the current offerings available from suppliersDetermining which goods to purchase and in what quantitiesNegotiating purchase terms with suppliersAnalysing inventory data to identify strong and weak sellersGenerating reports and forecastsAdvising marketing and merchandising departments on the best ways to display and promote itemsUnderstanding stakeholders' specific issues and needsExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional teamSkills and Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role and/or a relevant qualificationAbility to communicate concerns and solutions to different stakeholders with varying degrees of business knowledgeAdvanced ability to review and generate reports using Windows softwareAbility to navigate our information system and perform all functions with regards to stock movementIT literate with knowledge of distribution and logistics softwareHow to Apply:If you are passionate about maintaining the highest standards in the manufacturing processes of fresh produce, and are interested in contributing to our company's growth, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.Tasty One is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
