Delivering a guest experience unlike any other paired with lavish amenities, magnificent architecture and refined interiors, Capella Sydney will become the ultimate destination hotel for both local and international guests alike, establishing it as one of the finest hotels in the world.Position SummaryThe Guest Service Agent is responsible for extending a warm arrival welcome and fond farewell to all guests.
The individual will ensure payment information and billing setup is established correctly.
The individual assists in providing room orientations and assists guests during their stay.Greet and welcome all guests to the hotel in a warm, professional and friendly manner.
Open doors, assist guests / visitors entering, and leaving property.Ensure guests are greeted in the lobby with a warm professional friendly manner and anticipate their needs by offering assistance before being asked.Provide efficient luggage storage, retrieval of parcels and other objects for guests and ensure accurate inventory of items on loan, and all items are collected in time or before check-out.Perform currency exchange for in-house guest in line with established procedure.Receive cash payments and process paid-outs in line with established procedure.Be knowledgeable of the hotel's offerings, special events or promotions to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information to guests.Be the champion of the local city's culture and heritage by providing recommendations and directions to dining, tourist attractions and any local destinations.Talent ProfileTertiary Education preferred.A personable character with a passion for building strong guest relations.Experience in a similar role at luxury hotels/resorts or commercial facilities.Experience with PMS/Hotel Systems (Opera Cloud, KnowCross).Good command of written and spoken English.Valid working rights in Australia.Working with Capella SydneyBe part of a dynamic and supportive work environment.Work in beautifully crafted spaces and amenities in a Heritage building.Online training courses for personal and career development.Full uniform provided and laundered.Complimentary shift meals.Hotel and Group Discounts.Ability to grow and develop within and opportunities with the group.Kindly be informed that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
