Position: Finance Manager at Cronulla RSL Club About the Opportunity: Are you a hands-on Finance Manager ready to make waves in one of Sydney's most iconic beachfront clubs?
Cronulla RSL Memorial Club is a vibrant, community-focused venue located right on the sands of Cronulla Beach in Southern Sydney.
With a $25 million annual turnover and a thriving visitation, this is your chance to join a dynamic team and make a real impact in a successful and progressive organisation.
We're in an exciting phase of growth, having recently undergone a minor refurbishment and embarking on a major Master Plan.
Reporting directly to our enthusiastic CEO and working closely with a supportive Board of Directors, this is a diverse, career-defining role for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about shaping financial and strategic outcomes.

with a welcoming, vibrant team culture.What You'll Be Doing: As our Finance Manager, you'll wear many hats, balancing strategic input with hands-on financial management.
Your responsibilities include: Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports for the CEO and Board.Leading process improvements and contributing to the club's strategic direction.Supervising all finance-related activities, including payroll, cash management, creditors, and asset management.Managing banking relationships and ensuring corporate governance.Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk assessments.Ensuring legislative compliance, including AML/CTF, GST, FBT, Land Tax, Income Tax and ClubGRANTS etc.Preparing statutory Financial Statements.Leading the audit process and preparing financial statements.Managing insurance portfolios and cash flow.Driving procurement and business continuity planning.Currently, the club uses MYOB as its finance software.
However, there is scope to recommend and implement a more advanced system in the future, giving you the opportunity to shape the financial operations further.
What We're Looking For: We need someone who thrives on diving into the details and taking ownership.
To succeed here, you'll bring: CA/CPA qualifications with a proactive, commercially minded approach.A proven ability to balance hands-on financial management with strategic leadership.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build key relationships.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial software (experience with MYOB is essential).A highly organised, flexible, and ethical approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.Problem-solving prowess, strong negotiation skills, and a customer-focused mindset.Hospitality or club industry experience (an advantage, but not essential).What's in it for You?
