About the role
SFR Advisory Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner /Advisor who is very experienced in using Xplan to join our multi-disciplinary financial planning firm in East Perth, Western Australia.
This full-time role will see you providing high-quality financial planning support and advice to our clients, with opportunities to develop/or step into an Advisor position.

What you'll be doing
Have a comprehensive technical ability and use of Xplan and be able to train and assist the team Conducting in-depth client fact-finding and financial analysis to understand their unique goals and circumstances Preparing comprehensive financial plans, advice documents and statements of advice Conducting investment research and portfolio modelling to recommend tailored investment strategies Liaising with clients to present financial plans and recommendations Talking to clients on the phone and being able to sit down with them Providing ongoing support and service to your clients, including regular reviews of their financial position Collaborating with our team and financial advisor to deliver exceptional client outcomes Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation, regulations and industry best practices Having an understanding of accounting/tax would be beneficial What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Paraplanner in a financial planning or wealth management environment Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, including superannuation, investments and taxation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into plain English High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, compliant work Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Diploma of Financial Planning or Bachelor of Commerce Authorised Representative status or the ability to obtain this What we offer
