As a Finance Officer at Swyftx, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and consistent financial processes, while also seeking to drive continuous improvement.Please note, this is a Brisbane-based role with a hybrid working model. You'll spend two days each week in our beautiful Milton office, with the flexibility to choose between working from home or the office for the remaining three days, depending on your preference.Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:Verifying, processing and coding local and overseas vendor invoices in Netsuite in a timely and accurate mannerResolving or escalating any discrepancies or issues ahead of payment due dateProcessing weekly payment runsUpdating and maintaining the vendor database in a timely mannerManaging the reconciliations of our company cards (Weel)and ensuring correct allocation to the general ledgerManaging staff expense claims through NetsuiteRegularly reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completenessAssist with month end close, including but not limited to, expense accruals, prepayments, general ledger reconciliation and statement reconciliationPrepare and issue invoices for services rendered and ensuring payments are received promptlyProvide support during internal and external auditsIdentifying and making recommendations for improvement in current finance processes to increase efficiencyTo be successful you will have:Demonstrated experience in a finance role in a fast-paced, commercial environmentExperience with Netsuite is highly desired, but not essentialA passion for delivering a high level of service to all stakeholders, with a customer-focused, can-do attitudeStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit varying audiencesHigh-level problem-solving skills, demonstrating adeptness in identifying issues, thinking creatively and recommending solutionsA detailed-orientated approach, showing great care and attention within all aspects of workSome of our perks and benefits include:Fully stocked kitchen, breakfast and lunch foods, unlimited fresh fruit, snacks and kombucha.An inhouse barista and weekly catered lunches on a Wednesday.Unlimited fee-free trading.Career growth, training, mentorship, and development opportunities.Social activities, game breaks and end of month awards.At Swyftx, we're not just building a diverse and dynamic environment; we're celebrating it.
