We deliver innovative technical solutions to our clients in high voltage power generation, transmission, and distribution.
The opportunity With our current renewable energy target at 82% renewables by 2030, there is strong growth in renewables, and we are seeing significant projects in this sector being launched regularly by our clients.
This newly created national role will complement our existing team and elevate our onshore windfarm or wind energy offering in Australia.
This role will predominantly be market-facing, utilizing your unique knowledge of the sector to build on existing relationships and develop new ones with key clients (including developers, banks, OEMs, and government).
Understanding clients' business and strategic needs will help drive successful outcomes and repeat business.
Another facet of the role will use your technical and project delivery experience, as you take on the role of Project Director on major projects, growing our capability in this area, while utilizing the whole of Beca's services to drive innovations and expertise.
This role can be based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.
About you To be successful in this position, you should be a recognized leader in the Wind Energy sector with a proven track record in the project lifecycle of significant and major onshore Wind Farm projects.
Coming from a consultant or developer background, you will lead tenders and bid teams on large utility-scale opportunities.
You enjoy finding new revenue opportunities, as much as understanding what the client needs.
As a relationship builder, you will have the capability to initiate, manage, and develop strategic and operational relationships internally and externally to influence and coordinate people and skillsets to effect change that benefits our communities, people, and clients.
You are someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation, and leads with a mindset of continual improvement while connecting the Beca network to bring the best of our business to the region.
