Key Duties: Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum.Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math.Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including providing additional support or challenges as needed.Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.Skills & Experience: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.Hold a valid VIT registration.CECV Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School (or working towards) - school can support this.Experience in Secondary Maths advantageous - graduates welcome to apply.Understanding of the Vic Curriculum - experience teaching in Vic/Australia.Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree containing a teaching qualification, with further study an advantage.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years from upper management.An understanding and appreciation of Catholic teachings, values, and traditions are essential for teaching within the Catholic system, or a preparedness to be working within this system.Offering: Start from Term 1, 2025.Instructing students in years 7-10.Collaborating with approachable and transparent leadership.Experience a unique College among nature, with contemporary facilities and historic sites.Be part of our next chapter of growth in a new shift to a vertical curriculum.The School: Approximately 1600 students ranging from year 7-12.Terrific mix of modern and heritage facilities.2024 winner of 5-Star Employers of Choice.Future-focussed learning with a modern approach.Authentic school community, where building relationships with students is key.Why work with Tradewind?
