We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist for one of our leading clients in financial services.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and collaborating with IT teams to design and deliver robust cybersecurity solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of security frameworks, regulatory standards, and exceptional problem-solving skills.What you will do:This is a Cybersecurity Specialist role, where you will be responsible for:Conducting comprehensive security risk assessments for technical designs and implementations.Performing security audits to ensure measures are effective and compliant.Providing technical advice to team members and departments on security-related matters.Creating, managing, and delivering comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations.Identifying, assessing, and prioritising risks to information assets and designing mitigation strategies.Collaborating with IT and cybersecurity professionals to integrate and deploy security solutions.Staying updated on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and hacker methodologies.Managing incident responses, prioritising issues, and ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.Continuously improving cybersecurity processes and policies.What you will bring:7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields.Proven expertise in conducting cyber assessments for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.A thorough understanding of frameworks and standards such as CPS-234, CPS-230, CIS, SOC 2 Type 2, NIST-CSF, Essential 8, SABSA, NIST 800-53, and MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND.Experience in security engineering, API security, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and automation.Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH (highly desirable).Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.High attention to detail and the ability to work within an Agile environment.If this sounds like you, please apply through the link without further delay as this is an immediate role.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
