Together we're driving to deliver our vision to provide our customers with financial security for a better retirement.We achieve this goal by providing a work environment where people from diverse backgrounds, with a range of skills and experiences can contribute and succeed.We have an opportunity to join us on a 6 Month MTC as a Tester, supporting critical UAT Testing on best-in-class technology systems.Role PurposeThis role is ideal for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of testing processes to ensure seamless delivery across multiple applications, processes, and systems.You'll run and execute UAT during a critical phase in early 2024, testing complex scenarios with precision.You'll focus on functional and data migration testing, leveraging your expertise in manual and automation testing to deliver quality outcomes as well as develop and execute test cases for new portals, registry systems, and surrounding platforms.Key Responsibilities:Test Development and Execution Write detailed test cases based on business requirements and workflows.Execute manual and automated testing, ensuring sufficient coverage across systems and features.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with distribution, finance, data warehouse, and engineering teams.Translate requirements into test scenarios and provide actionable insights.Data Migration TestingReconcile data across systems, validate mappings, and ensure accuracy during migrations.Conduct SQL queries to troubleshoot errors and analyse results.Functional TestingTest and validate data alignment across processes, focusing on mapping accuracy and functionality.UAT OwnershipPrepare for and execute UAT, testing thousands of scenarios with attention to detail.Ensure timely delivery of all testing deliverables.Preferred Skills & Technical ExpertiseProficiency in a scripting language (e.g.
JavaScript) and SQLKnowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).Knowledge and experience with testing tools such as:Jira, Xray for test case and defect managementJmeter for performance testingBurpsuit for security testingPostman for API automationBrowser stack for device testingResilience testing LitmusCollaboration & AnalysisProven ability to work with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and stakeholders.Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Able to work to challenging deadlinesIndustry KnowledgeExperience in financial markets or similar domains is advantageous.Qualifications:3-5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related fieldISTQB certification or equivalent industry accreditation is a plus.Job type:Max Term (Fixed Term)Posting Close Date :15/12/2024 #J-18808-Ljbffr
