Join Our Team as a Workforce CoordinatorAs Workforce Coordinator at MACSEYE, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our services run smoothly and efficiently. You'll oversee casual staffing and workforce management across our dynamic network, ensuring we deliver on our commitments.In this role, you'll collaborate with Service Coordinators, Area Managers, and the People Services team to optimise staff rosters, retain top talent in our casual pool, and tackle workforce challenges head-on.Why MACSEYE?Make a Real Impact: You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of children, supporting their development in a lively and supportive atmosphere.Supportive Team Environment: You will collaborate with a passionate and friendly team dedicated to excellence in early childhood education.Growth and Development: You have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance your career with ongoing professional development opportunities in a thriving field.Job DescriptionWorkforce Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain staffing schedules, monitor staff availability and leave, coordinate casual staff, and establish emergency labour hire plans with third-party agencies.Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensure compliance with licensing requirements, and maintain an adequate casual staffing pool in collaboration with the Recruitment team.Staffing Support: Resolve workforce-related issues, including leave and emergency shortages, and provide HR policy guidance to Area Manager.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to child safety and service standards, and generate reports on staffing, attendance, and workforce trends for senior management.Training & Development: Ensure casual staff maintain certifications and complete mandatory training, such as First Aid and child protection.Employee Engagement & Retention: Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, improve retention, and implement strategies to enhance casual staff satisfaction.QualificationsQualifications & Experience: A degree in HR, Business, Education, or related field (preferred) with proven experience in workforce coordination, scheduling, or HR management, ideally in education or care services.Technical Expertise: Knowledge of childcare regulations, OSHC standards, HR software, and workforce management tools.Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage operations across multiple locations and work collaboratively or independently.Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard business hours to meet service needs.Additional InformationWhat's in it for you?Competitive Salary & Benefits: Enjoy a generous salary and a comprehensive benefits package.Ongoing Training: Access continuous professional development and training.Inclusive Environment: Thrive in a welcoming, supportive workplace.Career Advancement: Explore opportunities for growth and advancement within our organisation.About MACSEYEMACSEYE is a pioneering organisation dedicated to establishing a network of early childhood and school-aged care programs across Melbourne Archdiocese.
