Casual Cleaners (Shifts Mon - Fri between 7am to 5pm) - Brisbane, QLDWe are a leading provider of cleaning services and are currently looking for reliable and hardworking new team members who have great communication skills to join our team in Esscence Hotels in Chermside and Taringa, Unilodges QLD (Towoong, Woolloongabba, Brisbane City) Herston Quarter in Brisbane, QLD. About the role: Sites: Esscence Hotels in Chermside and Taringa, Unilodges QLD (Towoong, Woolloongabba, Brisbane City) Herston QuarterCasual PositionShifts Time:Toowong and UniLodges (Monday to Friday) 1st Shift: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm2nd Shift: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm3rd Shift (Herston UniLodge): 11:00 am to 3:00 pmMonday to Friday: 8:30 am to 1:30 pmTo be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong customer service approach and ability to follow directions and work autonomously. Experience in cleaning is not essential as all training to complete your role effectively and safely will be provided.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to the highest standardsEnsure all linens and towels are fresh and well-maintainedRestock supplies and report maintenance issues promptlyProvide excellent service to guests, responding to requests and inquiries with a friendly attitudeAdhere to site policies and procedures for safety and cleanlinessMaintain a high standard of cleaning, completing vacuuming, waste removal, dusting, mopping, and/or washroom cleaningFollow instructions from your Supervisor/ManagerWork in a safe manner that does not disrupt othersComplete equipment checksReport any issuesYou need to demonstrate: Previous cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is a plusStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityAbility to work efficiently both independently and as part of a teamCirka is committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results, provide an environment where everyone feels respected and where different views and alternative perspectives are valued.
