Retail Sales Assistant, Hornsby (Full-time)At ResMed we want people to "Awaken their best" by offering solutions to help people get the best night's sleep possible.So if this interests you then keep reading, as this is not a "normal" retail or sales role.Let's talk about the role:As a Retail Sales Assistant/Sleep Coach you focus on helping people to achieve outcomes with their sleep health.Reporting directly into the Store Manager you will be a natural communicator with a pride and personal interest in what you do.Some of the tasks the successful candidate will be responsible for are:Taking customer's enquiries in store and over the phone.Investigating and helping customers problem solve therapy issues.Provide set-up, on-going support and equipment to ensure therapy is maintained to a high standard.Fit the customer for a mask and help recommend the most appropriate mask based on training provided.Provide customers with advice in the safe and effective use of their medical equipment.Sale of new or additional services over the phone, with follow-up on trials and testing results to ensure sales conversion.Keep good condition of the retail premises and displays.Responsible for handling of payments, balancing of float and banking.Accountable for both trial and sales stock - Manage the stock levels and re-order stock as required.Let's talk about qualifications and experience:Previous experience in a busy, multi-tasking retail, customer service role.Ability to maintain compassion and remain calm under pressure.A strong customer service and sales focus that is always looking for the best outcome for the individual.Administrative skills to document and process customer enquiries (product usage, purchases etc).Strong and adaptable communication skills are a must.An active listener with the ability to find solutions to customer concerns and issues.Confident computer skills as we operate across multiple platforms.To really get us excited, you will be driven to learn new skills and keen to secure a role which offers exposure to an exciting industry that can offer an exciting new career.What's in it for you?Health and Wellness – Employee Assistance Program, Private Health Fund Corporate discount, access to best doctors, annual flu vaccine.Insurance – Death/Total & Permanent Disablement (within superannuation), Income Protection Insurance.Family and Friends discount on ResMed products, Educational assistance, Novated Car Lease, Tech products discount through ResMed partners, sales commission incentives.About ResMed:ResMed pioneers innovative solutions that treat and keep people out of the hospital, empowering them to live healthier, higher-quality lives.
