Since then, we've branched out to cover three tiers of services including Workplace Services, People and Employee Services, and Disability Services – still driven by a single goal: to elevate the wellbeing of people, workplaces and communities across Australia.With our team of over 900 healthcare professionals offering a suite of holistic, evidence-based health advice and therapy services, our mission is to be the Australian market leader in supporting people on their wellbeing journey.About the roleThe RTW Coordinator is responsible for implementing an organisation's return to work program, supporting workers as they recover at work and assisting employers in meeting their obligations under workers compensation legislation.As a RTW Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to influence successful outcomes through:The safe and sustained return to work of workersDecreased lost time impact to the businessDecreased workers compensation insurance premiums on employersKey day-to-day responsibilities:Early intervention measures upon receipt of initial notification/referralCoordinate required activities to support worker recovery at workWork closely with employers to identify suitable duties and form a plan to support a graded return to work plan in accordance with medical guidancePreparing, monitoring, and reviewing recovery at work plansLiaising with treating parties and other key stakeholdersImplement overall RTW ProgramAttend case conferences to drive claim strategyIdentify barriers and develop strategies to facilitate optimal RTW outcomesEngage rehabilitation provider (e.g., Rehabilitation Services, Nabenet, AMS) when lost time occursContribute to policy and system improvementsManage wage reimbursement processes as requiredUpkeep of admin billing and reporting tasksEducate employers on legislation compliance requirementsAbout youAllied Health background is essential with completed tertiary qualification in Allied Health studiesHave Return to Work Coordinator Certification or similarThis opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience working as a Rehabilitation Consultant or similarYou will at a minimum have at least six months experience in work rehabilitation/return to work, or one to two + years experience is desirableKnowledge of workers compensation legislation and regulation highly desirable but not mandatoryYou will be someone who demonstrates the following attributes:Strategic thinking and ability to problem solveHigh attention to detailProactiveStakeholder managementFamiliar and knowledgeable in injury management conceptsKnowledgeable with relevant legislation, regulations and guidelinesStrong verbal and written communicationStrong influencing and negotiation skills and good interpersonal effectivenessOrganisation, time management and prioritisation skillsAble to work independently, manage time and priorities however still able to work as part of a broader teamHOW TO APPLYIf Altius sounds like a place to be you click 'Apply Now'.If you would like to have a confidential conversation before applying or if you're interested in a career with Altius but this role is not right for you, please call Natalia on or feel free to connect on LinkedIn.We are a 2024 Circle Back Initiative Employer – we commit to respond to every applicant.Altius Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an inclusive workforce.
