We are currently seeking 2 leading hands for our Ingleburn construction project to assist with the construction of industrial shedding & other major projects in the area.
With our Depot based in the western suburbs, we are looking for leading hands with the flexibility to assist on our current project in Ingleburn and future projects serviced from this location; some travel and away work will be required.
Primary Purpose of Position: The Leading Hand: Installer is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in overseeing the installation of products for projects, acting between the Site Manager & the Site Staff to keep the job going on the ground at all times.
This role ensures high-quality work in line with our business standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties: Lead a team to produce accurate and quality work.
Read and interpret plans for installations.
Keep precise records of hours and materials.
Assist in training and guiding construction workers.
Understand and follow the company's Site Safety Management Plan.
Ensure all activities comply with WHS regulations.
Adhere to Safe Work Instructions and company policies.
Meet attendance and deadline expectations.
Work independently without constant supervision.
Maintain high-quality standards in all tasks.
Uphold company policies and improve team performance.
What you will need to be successful: Ability to lead a team and work independently.
Strong people management and communication skills.
Understanding of Safe Work Instructions and WHS practices.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Class C driver's license (manual), forklift license (Preferred but not essential), and White Card.
Safe Work at Heights training (can be provided).
Ability to travel and stay away from home as needed.
Effective time management.
