The Position : You will provide and promote high quality care to inpatients and outpatients in conjunction with the supervising consultant.
Undertaking clinical shifts plus on-call duties as directed.
Location : Based on the outskirts of Perth in a beautiful suburb, this is a fantastic location.
Located only 15 minutes South of the CBD, this is a growing regional centre at the heart of a bustling urban community that offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of modern day living.
Boasting a modern city centre nestled amongst scenic parks, undulating hills and picturesque valleys, the City takes pride in its cultural heritage and unique community feel.
The local area around the hospital is experiencing rapid growth and estimates its population will increase from 55,000 to 85,000 over the next ten years.
The Facility : Based in the southern suburb of Murdoch, it is the newest of the teaching hospitals in the Perth Metropolitan area.
It serves a huge geographical area from the Swan River to the North, all the way to the southern coast of Western Australia and is a quaternary care institute.
The Plastic Surgery Department is comprised of 10 consultants, the fellow, two plastic surgery trainees, and a tier of junior doctors.
It is a busy department, which covers a broad range of plastic surgery sub-specialities with a strong emphasis on breast reconstruction and head and neck reconstruction.
This is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
This hospital also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Requirements : Registered with AHPRA with Specialist Registration or ability to obtain.
