Project Manager and BA – IT consulting organisation Empyrean IT is seeking an experienced Project Manager and Business Analyst to join our team.
The role is responsible for:
Project Scheduling – set meetings, maintain project schedules on Jira and ConnectWise, project milestones and timelines.
Project Communication and Coordination – liaise with customers, facilitate regular meetings, including meeting minutes, provide project status updates, and ensure alignment on project goals and timeline.
Communicate project progress, risks and issue resolutions to relevant project stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement – foster positive relationships with clients and internal teams, address stakeholder concerns and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Assist in the preparation of customer proposals and RFQ.
User acceptance testing and preparation of user guides for Power Platform apps.
Business analyst tasks within M365 environment – investigate current business processes, and detailed requirements for a solution and ensure the delivered solution meets those business requirements.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that our projects run smoothly and that the solutions we provide match our customers' requirements and expectations.
The role is based in Melbourne.
EXPERIENCE
Persons fulfilling this role will have a minimum of 5-8 years related experience working within an IT or services business environment.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Professional approach to work, associates and clients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer relationship-building skills.
Able to quickly develop relationships and credibility with clients at all levels and maintain those relationships for the duration of the project lifecycle.
Experience with delivering M365 projects – e.g., migration to M365 exchange, SharePoint Intranet projects, migration of data to M365 environment.
Able to make decisions such as requirement prioritization, scope, and assessing the viability of solutions.
Able to ask the right questions and correctly understand the information received.
Able to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and to manage stakeholder meetings.
Strong commitment, enthusiasm, and drive with the ability to work through conflicting pressures and priorities.
Demonstrates good commercial acumen.
Experience in IT environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Business or IT degree or similar.
