We are actively on the lookout for an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a thriving team in the Welsh capital.The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in delivering apprenticeship level material previously and relevant teaching qualifications and experience to match this.Responsibilities include: Undertaking all educational work such as classroom teaching (which includes workshop etc.
), tutorial work associated with outreach, residential and open and distance learning courses and student placements;Undertaking all organisational and administrative work associated with the above, preparation and marking;Undertaking appropriate student welfare and academic or non-academic counselling responsibilities;An involvement in marketing, i.e.
identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials, publicity and public relations;Assist in monitoring and tracking of student progress and entitlement to learning support provision;Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.Requirements for this role:At least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation;A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one;An Assessor Award and a Verifier Award or a willingness to work towards them;Proven experience in the field of Electrical Installation.Benefits include:Salary of up to £48,000.Enrollment into Teachers Pension Scheme (Employer Contribution of up to 28.68%)Approximately 50 days of annual leave entitlementAccess to courses provided by the collegeIf you want to find out more, please reach out on (phone number removed).The closing date for completed applications is 09/12/2024.Because education matters.
