About the roleWe are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager / Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage multiple small-scale projects while overseeing internal resource management, with a strong emphasis on financial management and governance.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, actively identifying and mitigating risks before they become issues, and will excel in customer-focused communication.You will bring proven experience in managing complex projects and programs, guiding them from initiation to successful completion, all while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.This role will be an internal SME on all things project management for Trideca, and will work very closely with the executive leadership team and the Managing Director on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Project / Program Management:
Lead end-to-end management of smaller projects of work (< $1mill), including planning, execution, and delivery.
Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure project goals are met according to schedule.
Manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project objectives and influence where required to achieve optimum outcomes.
Project / Program Financials:
Oversee project or program budgets, ensuring all financials are tracked, managed, and reported accurately.
Monitor expenditures and costs against budgets and forecasts, providing regular financial updates to leadership.
Project / Program Risk Reporting:
Identify and manage risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Maintain comprehensive risk logs and ensure proactive risk communication to stakeholders.
Provide regular project status and risk reports to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Resource / Demand Management:
Develop and manage resource plans to ensure that the project has the required resources at each phase.
Oversee bench management for team members between projects, ensuring efficient utilization of internal resources.
Continuously monitor resource capacity and identify potential areas of underutilization or resource shortages.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in Project Management / Program Management, managing complex projects and programs from start to finish.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Risk Management Expertise: Ability to manage project risks effectively, including developing mitigation strategies and maintaining risk logs.
Resource & Demand Management: Proven ability to manage resources across multiple projects, ensuring effective utilization and demand planning.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Leadership: Experience leading project teams and fostering collaboration across various functions and departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certification.
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Experience in bench management and resource allocation for optimal utilization.
