We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team in a dual-role capacity, combining Commercial Excellence with Brand and Product Leadership.
Reporting directly to the General Manager – National Commercial & Major Projects, the National Value-Added Products (VAP) and Services Manager will drive innovation, growth, and profitability by spearheading the strategy, execution, and delivery of key company objectives.

This role involves leading a small, entrepreneurial team, empowering the National VAP team—encompassing marketing, specifications, and operational readiness—to achieve excellence.
The successful candidate will launch market-leading products and services that set new benchmarks, ensuring long-term success in a competitive market.

Strategic Planning and Target Setting
Establish and agree on the National & Regional VAPs Road Map and Targets.
Develop and coordinate National & Regional actions (direct & cross-functional) to achieve objectives.
Sales and Market Development
Support the business in promoting and selling VAPs, ensuring alignment with sales strategies and processes.
Set and deliver specification targets by engaging with specifier groups, associations, councils, and other stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new customers, business opportunities, and projects across various market segments.
Maintain an understanding of market changes, trends, opportunities, risks, and competitive activity to ensure a relevant and competitive product offering.
Product and Brand Leadership
Oversee the development, review, and publishing of marketing materials related to VAP.
Ensure regular review and development of new Geostone mixes and other innovative VAP offerings.
Manage the VAP pipeline, driving consistent innovation and alignment with market needs.
Lead the launch and commercialization of Holcim Concrete's sustainability offering.
Process Excellence and Sales Enablement
Ensure seamless end-to-end processes for quoting, pricing, and sales execution.
Leverage systems like Salesforce to drive process efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with teams to enhance pricing strategies and streamline quoting processes.
Promote process improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
Secure national partnerships to expand Holcim's VAP footprint.
Maintain productive and effective working relationships with all stakeholder groups.
Develop a regular review and communication system to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
Sustainability and Specification Leadership
Ensure the sustainability offering is supported by engaging digital and print marketing materials.
Drive the inclusion of the sustainability offering in key infrastructure projects through specification leadership.
Skills and Experience
Business Management qualifications and relevant technical expertise in a similar building and construction field.
Proven track record in building and construction materials, including their application across various construction methods.
Experience with sales systems like Salesforce and familiarity with pricing and quoting processes.
Strong strategic and operational leadership skills, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering relationships and driving collaboration.
Experience leading marketing strategy and execution within the construction materials industry or related field.
Effective management of third-party contractors and suppliers.
Qualifications in Business Management or related discipline.
