About the Role As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the alignment of financial and operational goals with key business objectives.
You will be a data-focused and agile leader who can leverage financial insights to drive strategic decision-making, optimise performance, and foster a culture of financial discipline across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth ambitions and operational efficiencies.
Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team to guide business decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Utilise advanced data analytics to provide actionable insights and drive performance improvements.
Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring effective internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
Performance Data: Establish and track key financial metrics and KPIs.
Utilise data to monitor performance and guide operational and strategic adjustments.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance, strategy, and risks to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, board members, and senior management.
Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment that supports professional growth and development.
About You As an experienced finance leader, you will bring strong commercial acumen and a truly outcomes-driven mentality.
With an innovative and data-driven approach, you will have demonstrated experience presenting and operating at a C-level.
Experience: Extensive experience in strategic finance, with a proven track record in executive roles.
Experience as a CFO or in a similar strategic financial leadership role is highly desirable.
Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of data analytics, financial modelling, and performance metrics.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Agility & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with proven experience in driving change and managing complexity.
Leadership: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and inspire teams.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
An MBA, CPA, or similar advanced qualification is preferred.
