As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a dedicated Operations Analyst to join our team and drive growth within the business.The Role:As an Operations Analyst for Perpetual Group, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational activities of the business, specifically in the areas of customer transfers, billing, invoicing, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that operational processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business goals.
Your primary responsibilities will include:Daily Data Processing & Reporting: Perform routine tasks to process operational data and produce timely reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Customer Transfers: Support the Operations Manager with managing and processing customer transfers, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate data handling.Billing & Invoicing Support: Assist in customer billing and invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer statements and addressing any discrepancies.Continuous Improvement: Assist the Operations Manager in identifying areas for improvement in billing systems and reporting processes, and contribute to the implementation of improvements.Additional Responsibilities:Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries as appropriate, providing support and resolving issues related to operational processes.Procedure Development: Work with the Operations Manager to draft and update procedures for new tasks and operational processes, ensuring clarity and consistency.Prerequisites:Spreadsheets: Proficient in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data manipulation, reporting, and analysis.Project Work: Experience in managing or supporting project-based work, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify discrepancies, spot trends, and ensure data accuracy.Office-Based Role: This is a full-time office-based role located in Chatswood.
Candidates must be able to work on-site.Skills/Experience Preferred:Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.Database Experience: Familiarity with databases (SQL or other systems) to query, manage, and analyze data.Reporting Platforms: Experience with dashboard reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
is highly desirable.Accounting Platforms: Experience with accounting or invoicing software platforms (e.g., SAP, Xero, QuickBooks) is an advantage.Procedure Creation: Experience in drafting and implementing operational procedures for new processes or tasks.Continuous Improvement: A strong mindset focused on driving continuous improvement in operational systems, processes, and workflows.Team Player & Independent Worker: Able to work both independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.How to Apply:If you are a motivated operations professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the gas energy industry, we want to hear from you
