BENEFITS Join local council in this contract role with a review for extension or transition to permanent 35 hours per week with flexible start and finish times A great team culture that prioritises flexibility and work life balance ABOUT THE POSITION As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for providing effective project management and site representation across a range of projects, including direct management of contract works, and providing support to Project Managers in daily tasks, including scheduling meetings, organising resources, and tracking project progress.
DUTIES Assist in tracking project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to financial constraints Undertake routine monitoring of technical, quality, environment and WHS compliance Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk assessments Identify potential project risks and issues, assisting in the development of mitigation strategies SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Construction Management/Civil Engineering or a related field General Construction Induction Card (white card) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with proficiency in Microsoft Suite CULTURE Be part of a supportive team and get involved in training and development to constantly upskill and stay on top of industry trends.
