Join our team in a vital role protecting Western Australia's marine environment The Climate and Sustainability Directorate are looking to establish a talent pool for Senior Environmental Officers and Principal Environmental Officers with marine expertise to fill immediate and future roles.
As a Senior or Principal Environmental Officer, you'll provide expert advice on referrals, management plans and other matters related to marine environmental protection and management, consistent with the Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) policy framework.
Collaborating with industry, government agencies, and the community, you will help shape and implement key policies and strategies to address marine environmental challenges.
In these roles, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of strategic environmental policy and coordinate or lead biological/ecological investigations to resolve and manage complex marine environmental issues in WA.
Both positions offer autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to make a lasting impact on Western Australia's marine environments while driving critical initiatives.
