Join us on this exciting journey and be part of something extraordinaryWe are looking for an Environmental Controls Technician who will report to the Environmental Controls Manager.
The Environmental Controls Technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting for HVAC and Agricultural Control Systems.

Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels.
Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments.
Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection.
Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements.
Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions.Physical Requirements:Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50lbsCapable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of timeCapable of using hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel and pickAbility to work with hazardous chemicals (butane, propane, etc.)
following strict safety guidelinesUtilize chemicals (such as bleach) to clean and maintain facility/equipmentMust wear PPE (clothing protection), close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protectionResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Performs daily checks on room conditions including temperature, humidity, CO2, lighting and morePerforms Routine and Preventative maintenance service activities on equipment to ensure optimal performance.Has a working knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systemsAbility to read line diagrams and construction drawingsPerforms assigned work professionally and efficientlyInterfaces with all internal departments on system activities as required.Ability to utilize computers, computer programs such as Excel and 'front end' automation access pointsOther tasks assigned as neededQualifications and Education Requirements:Planning, delegation, communication, and time management skills are required.Excellent attendance is required to support operations.Must be meticulous, take pride in work performed and work with a sense of urgency.Some schooling or prior experience in HVAC, electrical, and/or IT preferred.
