Deep experience and capability with a genuine care about creating better lives for people along the way.Be part of the team that's up for the challenge of transforming lives for good.About the RoleWe are currently looking to speak to experienced building Project Managers with high rise commercial experience to join our iconic Waterfront project in the Brisbane CBD.The primary purpose of the role is to assist in the successful delivery of the project in accordance with design requirements, time and cost constraints, and commercial, HR, safety, quality, environment and community targets.Achieve or exceed project financial targets, identifying and mitigating issues as they arise and capitalising on opportunities.Responsibilities of the role includeManage the delivery of a component of the project, on or ahead of time with all client expectations metAssign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards, monitor and workflow, setting daily, weekly, and long-term project goalsManage the execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities and adopt appropriate construction methodsReview progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as requiredFinancial management: Ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue, take corrective action in line with authority and reporting frameworksMaximise the profit margin for the projectDemonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental managementDemonstrate leadership in risk management, compliance and auditing, and ensure legislative, pre-contract and commercial obligations are met, including compliance with the relevant Building CodeStakeholder management: Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community and other external parties are developed and maintainedPeople management: Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure the project has the capability to achieve targets, supervise workforce, including subcontractors, and foster a high performance team within a positive employee relations environmentWhat we are looking for:Bachelor of Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalentDemonstrated project management experience on high rise, commercial or associated projects (in excess of $100 million) within a tier one or two building contractorContemporary practices in design and construction methodologyContractual, legal, commercial, industrial relations and legislative compliance managementAdvanced financial and commercial management including cost reduction and meeting budgetsPeople and performance management including the performance of subcontractorsClient relationship and stakeholder managementAnalysis of and reporting on project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformanceAs part of the team, you can help us transform lives.Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
