We offer services to clients in transportation, buildings, water, ports, resources, marine, and energy infrastructure sectors.
Our key services include planning and management of ground investigations, design of foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, slope stabilization works, and ground improvement works.
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role as a Geotechnical Engineer at Geoporte Australia in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some remote work.
As a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will main include geotechnical design and advisory services in various sectors such as transportation, mining, water, buildings, marine and energy.
You will be involved in planning and managing ground investigations, designing shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, slope stabilization works, ground improvement, seismic design and ground improvement works.
Sound background and understanding of soil structure interaction is mandatory for this role.
Qualifications Civil Engineering degree or related fieldExperience in geotechnical site investigations and analysisProficiency in geotechnical design softwareStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of relevant Australian codes and standardsMasters and PhD in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred
