Our Federal Government client is seeking qualified candidates with experience in the Federal Government sector for an immediate opportunity starting in early January 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to make an impact in a dynamic and rewarding environment.Position SummaryYou will undertake complex research and analysis to provide evidence-based recommendations.
You will prepare complex correspondence and documentation and maintain accurate records of discussions and decisions.
You will also develop and implement processes, procedures and tools that support the delivery of high quality policy advice and provide advice on highly complex and sensitive policy matters.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports and promotes the delivery of a program of work.
This may include elements of coordination, briefing, evaluation, research and clearly communicating with stakeholders.Prepare a range of high quality written materials including advice and analysis on key projects or policy, strategic documents, reviews and reports, presentations and/or minutes.Provide visibility and strategic oversight of policy, legislative and regulatory change impacting the department.Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Monitor, manage and deliver projects and assist others to deliver outcomes through the provision of guidance, quality assurance and technical expertise.Support and understand key corporate processes such as secretariat processes and other budget/finance and coordination/administration activities.Core CapabilitiesStrategic thinking skills, including ability to maintain and apply awareness of local and global developments, current affairs and policy development and evaluate environmental factors.Ability to write and communicate verbally with a variety of audiences and to target communication effectively.Ability to undertake research and analysis on multiple issues and provide expertise and advice to colleagues.Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and provide advice and understand the provision of advice.Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines.Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple business areas and to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.Strong understanding or ability to acquire knowledge of the department and its operational environment.Experience in and knowledge of Cabinet and budget processes is highly desirable.ClearanceActive NV1If you would like to be considered for these roles, please click "Apply Now" to submit your current resume.SkillsPolicy ResearchQualificationsResearch policyEducationSecondary School / High School#J-18808-Ljbffr
