West Wimmera Health Service provides high-quality hospital care, residential aged care, disability services and community health facilities to more than 22,000 people in the West Wimmera region.
We cover 9 locations across Western Victoria including Goroke, Murtoa, Rupanyup, Minyip, Jeparit, Rainbow, Kaniva, Natimuk and Nhill.
RELOCATION INCENTIVE AND RETENTION BONUSES FOR AGED CARE WORKERS:Aged care workers are eligible to receive a one-off payment of up to $16,500 to cover immediate and direct costs associated with permanently relocating to rural and remote areas within AustraliaTo be eligible for this incentive payment, the employee must relocate from a metropolitan or regional area (MM 1-3) to a MM 4-7 location and work for your rural or remote aged care service for a minimum of two years.

ABOUT THE ROLE/S:The Associate Nurse Unit Manager/Registered Nurse is to work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing/Nurse Unit Manager of the facility.The Associate Nurse Unit Manager will work with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate and foster the provision of best practice standards of nursing care to the patients/residents, their families and carers.Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024 -Level: YW11 – RN ANUM Year 1 OR YW12 – RN ANUM Year 2.KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:Effective communication and organisational skills.Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations.Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical care.Have an excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and the Aged Care Quality Standards (aged care facilities).Have an excellent understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (acute facilities).Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).APPLICATIONS CLOSE 18 DECEMBER 2024 HOW TO APPLY:If you wish to apply and be considered for this role, please submit the following information in one document:
