These positions are required to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of YMCA aquatic programs, educational trends and industry development.What will my time look like?The philosophies of YMCA Aquatic Programs and ServicesThe delivery of safe, effective and professional lessonsEnsuring they are available to undertake every allocated class for a minimum of 12 monthsDelivering the highest level of service to all Learn to Swim members and their families.Am I a good match?AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water SafetyAny Swim Coaching Certifications – will be reviewedCurrent certification for First Aid, CPR, or willingness to obtainCurrently National Police CheckPositive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000Achievement of YMCA's Safeguarding Children Training Certificate and complete annual refresher training.Demonstrated experience in a similar positionDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels, approachable mannerWhat's in it for you?Swimming Lessons Teachers supervise and guide all members in their swimming lessons.
They provide a platform of learning how to swim, lifesaving opportunities for anyone who enters the water.
